Margareta Hästö has enjoyed weaving for more
than 20 years. Since 1997 when she established her own company SMILLA she
has mainly made products on commission.
Margareta uses a lot of colors in her weaves but blue and green and
their mixtures are her favorites. To obtain the right nuances she dyes wool
and cotton that she uses when weaving rugs, blankets and scarves. Her place
mats and runners are often woven in linen and jute.
